Imagine is the first Eva Cassidy album released since Songbird’s worldwide success. Songbird is a certified gold album in the U.S., was No. 1 on both Billboard’s Catalog Album Chart and Internet Chart in 2001 and was a No. 1 pop album and certified triple platinum in the U.K. On Imagine, Eva offers a starkly-moving tribute to John Lennon’s “Imagine.” She also reinterprets “It Doesn’t Matter Anymore” in distinctly-different fashion than the Buddy Holly and Linda Ronstadt versions. And her version of “Fever” harkens back to the original 1956 Little Willy John R&B hit.
