A very popular audiophile release from 1987, this Telarc classic has been licensed by Universal Music and pressed on two 180-gram LPs. The music, of course, is Erich Kunzel and the Cincinnati Pops Orchestra doing some of the most classic big-screen and TV westerns – augmented by a unique array of Western sound effects. The entire recording chain was transformerless. While this is a digital recording, the signal did not pass through any processing device (i.e. compression, limiting or equalization).
